Our Founder and Teacher
Nor Izzati
Izzati completed her Association Montessori Internationale (AMI) Montessori Diploma (3-6 years old) course from Navadisha Montessori Foundation in Chennai, India.
While working towards her diploma, she also took the opportunity to complete her AMI Montessori Certificate (0-3 years old) from Montessori Institute Prague in Prague, Czech Republic.
She is now a certified AMI Trained Teacher in Malaysia.

Izzati also holds a degree in Bachelor of Aircraft Engineering Technology from UniKL MIAT and has working experience as a Quality Engineer in a well know Aerospace company in Malaysia.
​
Due to her deep interest towards early childhood education, she shifted her career to become a temporary teacher in a national school in Johor to gain experience before finally choosing to focus on Montessori education.
​
Nor Izzati is also one of the founding members of the Malaysian Society for Montessori Education (MSME).
Our Co-Founder
Mohd Syahiran
Syahiran graduated from Universiti Sains Malaysia with a Bachelors Degree in Aerospace Engineering.
Syahiran has more than 10 years of working experience as an Engineer in the Aerospace industry and is currently working as a Supply Chain Manager in an Aerospace company.

Having introduced to the Montessori methods of learning from Nor Izzati, and observing the exceptional progress and benefits that it does to a child, has peaked his interest in learning more of the methods and sharing its benefits to others.
Noticing the lack of a true Montessori kindergarten in Malaysia and especially in Johor, has inspired him to help establish Rumah Montessori with the vision of making Montessori education an affordable education method that should be accessible to all.
Our Inspiration
Shahra Imaan
Shahra Imaan had the opportunity to experience the Montessori approach from as early as 12 months old.
The house was setup to support her physical, emotional and social development
From the support that she received, she has flourished to be a confident and independent young child till to date.
​ It is from her that our interest and passion in Montessori bloomed. Her exceptional progress aided by the Montessori approach is the reason Nor Izzati started her journey in Montessori education.

And now we hope to extend the benefits of Montessori to all young children out there!
